eastern Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Saturday low 955 mb located east of Newfoundland.
At 3:30 p.m. AST today ridge located west of the Marine District.
By 3:30 p.m. AST Saturday ridge located over the central Marine
District.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:37 AM AST 5 December 2025 An intensifying trough of low pressure extending from Labrador toBrowns Bank will move eastward to lie east of the marine district by
Friday morning. Gale to storm force northwesterlies will develop in
the wake of the trough.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen - northeastern half, and
Anticosti - southeastern half. Gale warnings are in effect for all
remaining waters.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope, East
Scotian Slope, and Laurentian Fan.
