Issued 9:30 PM NST 4 March 2021 Tonight and Friday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight quasi-stationary trough located on a linenortheast-southwest over the Northwest Labrador Sea.
At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 976 mb located over the Quebec Lower
North Shore.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Friday quasi-stationary low 983 mb located over
western Labrador.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:28 PM NST 4 March 2021 A trough of low pressure over the northern most edge of NorthwestLabrador Sea will remain nearly stationary through tonight and
Friday, while a low pressure system over the Quebec Lower North Shore
slowly tracks westwards and weakens.
Strong to gale force east to northeasterlies will persist north of
the trough tonight and Friday with strong to gale force
southeasterlies to northeasterlies elsewhere. Winds will diminish
over all waters into Friday evening as both features weaken.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Mid
Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and Northwest Labrador Sea.
