Issued 9:30 PM NST 7 March 2026 Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight intensifying trough located over the
Torngat Mountains.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Sunday low 977 mb located over the East Labrador
Sea.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the East Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Sunday departing ridge located east of the East
Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:25 PM NST 7 March 2026 An intensifying trough of low pressure over the Torngat Mountains
will track across the Northwest Labrador Sea tonight, where it will
develop into a deepening low which will drift slowly eastward on
Sunday. Strong to gale force southwesterlies ahead of the trough will
diminish tonight with strong to gale force northwesterlies developing
behind the eventual low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast - north of Saglek, South Labrador Sea, and
Northwest Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all regions with open water.
