northwest-southeast over the Northwest Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:57 PM NST 5 December 2025 A trough of low pressure over the East Labrador Sea will continue toextend northwestward and intensify. Strong to gale force easterlies
will continue to spread east of the trough this evening, and strong
to gale force north to northwesterlies will develop west of the
trough as it intensifies.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville, Mid Labrador Coast - north of Hopedale,
North Labrador Coast, and Northwest Labrador Sea - western half.
