Issued 9:30 PM NST 22 January 2021 Tonight and Saturday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight trough located on a line north-south overthe Mid Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Saturday dissipating trough located over Labrador.
At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 986 mb located over Funk Island Bank.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Saturday low 983 mb located over the Quebec Lower
North Shore.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:22 PM NST 22 January 2021 A trough of low pressure over the Mid Labrador Coast will dissipateas it moves to lie over Labrador overnight. Strong northwesterlies
ahead of this trough will shift to gale force northeasterlies to
easterlies in its wake. These winds will persist through the day on
Saturday as a low passes south of the marine district.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except North Labrador Coast and Northwest Labrador Sea.
