Issued 4:00 PM NDT 17 May 2021 Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 p.m. NDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Tuesday dissipating ridge located over the East
Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight trough located on a line north-south over
northern Quebec.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday trough located on a line north-south over
the Mid Labrador Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:52 PM NDT 17 May 2021 A trough of low pressure will approach the marine district from
Northern Quebec tonight and gradually weaken on Tuesday as it
approaches the Mid Labrador Coast. Gale force southeasterlies over
northwestern waters will develop this evening ahead of this feature.
Winds will diminish on Tuesday as the trough passes and weakens.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast - north of Saglek and Northwest Labrador Sea -
northwestern half.
