By 9:30 a.m. NDT Wednesday low 985 mb located over Belle Isle Bank.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Wednesday ridge located over the East Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:03 AM NDT 15 October 2024 A low pressure system over the Gaspé Peninsula will move to lie over
Belle Isle Bank by Wednesday morning, where it will further
intensify. Strong to gale force northerlies are expected over
southern waters Wednesday afternoon as the low deepens.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
South Labrador Sea.
