Issued 9:30 PM NST 1 March 2021 Tonight and Tuesday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 984 mb located over northern Quebec.By 9:30 a.m. NST Tuesday weakening trough located on a line
north-south over the Torngat Mountains.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Tuesday approaching trough located over
southwestern Newfoundland.
At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight departing ridge located over the East
Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:11 PM NST 1 March 2021 A low pressure system will track across Northern Quebec this eveningbefore weakening into a trough over the Torngat Mountains tonight.
Gale force southeasterlies ahead of this low will diminish as the
trough weakens on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure will approach the marine district
from the southwest on Tuesday. Strong to gale force east to
southeasterly winds will spread across most waters on Tuesday ahead
of this trough.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
