western Labrador.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday trough located on a line north-south over
the East Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located on a line north-south over
Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday departing ridge located east of the East
Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:18 PM NDT 13 April 2026 A trough of low pressure over Western Labrador will move to lie over
the Labrador Sea by Tuesday afternoon. Strong to gale force
southeasterlies ahead of the trough will shift to strong to gale
force northwesterlies in its wake on Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Mid
Labrador Coast, North Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea -
northwestern half, and Northwest Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Sea - northwestern half, Northwest Labrador
Sea, and East Labrador Sea.
