Issued 9:30 PM NDT 18 July 2024 Tonight and Friday At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight trough located on a line east-west over
Labrador.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Friday low 997 mb located over the South Labrador
Sea.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight dissipating ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the East Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:17 PM NDT 18 July 2024 A low pressure centre will develop in a trough over Labrador tonight
before moving to lie over the South Labrador Sea on Friday. Moderate
to strong southeasterlies east of the trough will increase to gale
force easterlies as the low forms overnight. Winds will shift to
strong to gale force northwesterlies late in the day on Friday in its
wake.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
South Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and East Labrador Sea.
