the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Thursday trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary low 988 mb located
over Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:46 PM NDT 15 July 2026 A trough of low pressure extending down over the Gulf of St. Lawrence
will continue slowly tracking eastward across the marine district
throughout the forecast period. Strong to gale force southerlies will
persist ahead of the trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
