Issued 3:30 PM NST 13 December 2025 Tonight and Sunday At 3:30 p.m. NST today low 959 mb located southeast of Labrador Sea.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Sunday low 961 mb located southeast of Greenland.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the Maritimes.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Sunday ridge located from the Grand Banks to
Labrador.

At 8:00 p.m. NST Sunday approaching low 998 mb located south of
Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:17 PM NST 13 December 2025 An intense low pressure system southeast of the Labrador Sea will
start tracking eastward this evening to lie southeast of Greenland by
Sunday morning. Strong to gale force west to northwesterlies will
gradually diminish from west to east throughout the forecast period
as the low slowly pulls away.

Meanwhile, a second intensifying low pressure system will approach
the marine district on Sunday night. Gale force southwesterlies
associated with this system will develop over the Southern Grand
Banks late in the day on Sunday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, Belle Isle Bank, Funk
Island Bank, and the Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Northeast Coast and Belle Isle Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that water levels are expected to
exceed the highest astronomical tide with high waves and pounding
surf, impacting some coastal areas of Northeast Coast and East Coast
Monday night into Tuesday morning, most significant near high tide.
