Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:44 AM NDT 20 April 2026 A trough of low pressure over the Cabot Strait will slowly trackeastward across Newfoundland today before lying over the Eastern
Grand Banks by Tuesday morning. Strong to gale force southerlies
ahead of the trough will shift to strong westerlies to northerlies in
its wake.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port.
