Grand Banks.
At 3:30 p.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located over
Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:15 PM NDT 12 April 2021 A low pressure system south of Laurentian Fan will slowly drifteastwards tonight before tracking north over the Southwestern Grand
Banks on Tuesday. Meanwhile, a ridge of high pressure will remain
nearly stationary over the Labrador Sea. Strong to gale force east to
northeasterly winds will persist over most waters between these two
features.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Belle Isle Bank.
