Issued 8:00 PM NST 10 February 2026 Tonight and Wednesday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight quasi-stationary low 982 mb located east
of Funk Island Bank.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the northern Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Wednesday departing trough located east of the
Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. NST Wednesday approaching low 989 mb located south
of Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:50 PM NST 10 February 2026 A low pressure system east of Funk Island Bank will remain nearly
stationary throughout the forecast period. Strong to gale force north
to northwesterlies over eastern waters will gradually diminish
tonight or early Wednesday as the low weakens.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half, East Coast, Northeast Coast,
Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and Northern Grand Banks.
