By 3:30 p.m. NST Monday low 996 mb located east of the Grand Banks.
At 8:00 p.m. NST Monday approaching low 984 mb located over the
Maritimes.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:23 PM NST 28 February 2021 A low pressure system over the Southwest Coast will move to lie overthe Southeastern Grand Banks Monday morning. Southeasterly gales
ahead of the low will shift to gale force west to northwesterlies in
its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, and the Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, and
Belle Isle Bank.
