Issued 3:00 AM NDT 28 April 2025 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today low 1003 mb located over Cabot Strait.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday low 1011 mb located over the southern
Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough from low located on a line
northeast-southwest over central Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday departing trough from low located east
of the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:00 AM NDT 28 April 2025 A low pressure system over Cabot Strait will move to lie over the
Southern Grand Banks tonight. Meanwhile, an associated trough
extending northeast of the low depart to the east of the Grand Banks
tonight. Strong to gale force south to southwesterlies can be
expected ahead of these features, with strong to gale force north to
northeasterlies in their wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle - western half and Southwest
Coast.
