east-west over Funk Island Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 996 mb located over
southwestern Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Monday low 988 mb located over Funk Island Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over northern Belle Isle Bank.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today dissipating ridge located north of Belle
Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:50 AM NDT 24 October 2021 A low pressure system over Southwestern Newfoundland will deepen and
move to lie over the Northeast Coast of the island by Monday morning.
Strong to gale force southerlies will develop ahead of the low today
and shift to strong to gale force northerlies to westerlies in its
wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
