Issued 3:30 PM NDT 22 October 2020 Tonight and Friday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today deepening low 1000 mb located over southern
Belle Isle Bank.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Friday departing low 982 mb located east of Funk
Island Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT Friday approaching ridge located over Quebec.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:27 PM NDT 22 October 2020 A low pressure system over Southern Belle Isle Bank will depart to
the east of the marine district tonight. Strong to gale force
westerlies south of the low will diminish tonight and Friday as the
low moves away and a ridge approaches from the west.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Funk Island Bank.

At 3:30 P.M. NDT, hurricane epsilon was located near latitude 31.5
north and longitude 61.2 west, about 186 nautical miles
east-southeast of Bermuda. Maximum sustained winds were estimated at
80 knots and central pressure at 965 MB. Epsilon is moving
north-northwest at 7 knots.

Epsilon is expected to make a turn to the north then northeast on
Saturday and pass near or south of the Grand Banks on Sunday as a
hurricane or strong post-tropical storm.
