Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:45 AM AST 18 November 2019 A low pressure system southeast of Long Island will move
northeastward to lie over the southwestern marine district by this
evening then cross Cape Breton Tuesday morning. Strong to gale force
easterlies will spread further north and east today ahead of the low.
The easterlies may reach storm force in gusts over southwestern
marine district into this afternoon. Winds will then shift to strong
to gale force southwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Northumberland Strait, Chaleur - Miscou, and Anticosti.
