Issued 10:00 AM AST 29 February 2024 Today Tonight and Friday At 10:00 a.m. AST today cold front located from Anticosti Island
to West Scotian Slope.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight weakening cold front located east of the
Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight ridge located near the Great Lakes.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Friday ridge located over the southwestern Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:46 AM AST 29 February 2024 An intense cold front extending from a low over Quebec will move
eastward across the marine district today. Gale force southerly winds
ahead of the front will shift to gale force westerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope and
East Scotian Slope.
