of the Grand Banks.

Grand Banks.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:54 PM NST 6 February 2026 Strong to gale force northwesterlies over northern waters willdiminish overnight as the system moves away.
An intensifying low pressure system will approach the marine district
from the southwest tonight. Gale to storm force north to
northeasterlies will develop tonight over southern waters ahead of
this system.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
the Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters
except Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, and the Northeast Coast.
Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Belle Isle Bank.
