By 10:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday departing ridge located south of the
Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today trough located off Labrador Coast.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday departing trough located east of Belle
Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:55 AM NDT 18 June 2024 A trough of low pressure off the Labrador coast will move to lie east
of Belle Isle Bank overnight. Meanwhile a ridge of high pressure over
the Grand Banks will move to lie south of the Grand Banks overnight.
Strong to gale force southwesterlies are expected between these
features today.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle.
