Issued 3:00 AM NDT 11 April 2026 Today Tonight and Sunday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 1011 mb located south of the
Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Sunday low 993 mb located over the northern
Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 1015 mb located over New
Brunswick.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Sunday low 1001 mb located over the West Coast
of Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today departing low 1008 mb located over eastern
Labrador Sea.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line east-west over the
South Coast of Newfoundland.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight dissipating ridge located on a line
east-west over Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:50 AM NDT 11 April 2026 A deepening low pressure system over New Brunswick will slowly track
over Western Newfoundland by overnight tonight. Meanwhile, a second
deepening low pressure system will approach from the south and track
into the Grand Banks. On Sunday both systems are expected to merge
into an intense low pressure system and remain nearly stationary just
east of the Funk Island Bank.

Gale force northeasterlies to northwesterlies will develop in the
vicinity of the first low over the Gulf waters this evening, while
gale force southerlies to westerlies develop over the Grand Banks
with the second low. As the lows merge on Sunday, gale force
southwesterlies to northwesterlies will spread to all remaining
waters.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
