Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:49 AM NDT 12 May 2025 A low pressure system over the Belle Isle Bank will track slowlyeastward and move east of the marine district throughout the forecast
period. Strong to gale force southwesterlies south of the low will
increase to gale to storm force northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half, Belle Isle Bank - western half,
and Funk Island Bank - southwestern half. Gale warnings are in effect
for all remaining waters except Southeastern Grand Banks.
