Issued 10:00 AM NDT 13 April 2026 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 982 mb located east of Funk
Island Bank.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday departing low 979 mb located east of Funk
Island Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today trough located over Quebec.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday trough located on a line east-west over
southern Newfoundland.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
the West Coast of Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday ridge located east of the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:54 AM NDT 13 April 2026 A low pressure system east of Funk Island Bank will slowly drift
further out to sea today and tonight. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies in the wake of the low will gradually diminish
through the day today as the low departs and a ridge of high pressure
builds in from the west.

A second area of low pressure will approach the district from the
west today to lie over Southern Newfoundland by Tuesday morning.
Strong to gale force southeasterlies to southwesterlies will develop
over southern waters south of the low tonight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Coast, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and the Grand Banks.
