Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:56 PM NST 1 December 2023 A trough of low pressure over Southeastern Labrador will trackeastward to lie over the Belle Isle Bank tonight before moving to lie
east of the marine district Saturday afternoon. Strong
southeasterlies ahead of the trough will increase to strong to gale
force southwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank and Northern Grand Banks.
