Wind southeast 15 knots increasing to southeast 25 near noon and to southeast 35 this afternoon. Wind increasing to southeast 40 early this evening with gusts to 60 in the Wreckhouse area tonight and gusts to 75 in the Wreckhouse area overnight and Tuesday morning. Wind becoming west 40 Tuesday morning then veering to northwest 40 Tuesday afternoon.

Rain this afternoon tonight and Tuesday morning. Flurries Tuesday evening. Visibility 1 mile or less in flurries.

Issued 10:00 AM AST 23 November 2020 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:00 a.m. AST today deepening low 1009 mb located over the
St. Lawrence River.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Tuesday low 980 mb located northeast of Anticosti

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:48 AM AST 23 November 2020 An intensifying low pressure system currently over the St.
Lawrence River will track across New Brunswick today. This system
will reach the Lower North Shore of Quebec by early Tuesday.
Ahead of the system, strong southeasterlies will develop over western
waters early today. These southeasterlies will further strengthen to
gale force winds over portions of the marine district. As the low
pulls away on Tuesday, gale force northwesterlies and colder air will
spread across the district except over Anticosti and in the Gulf of
St. Lawrence where storm force northwesterlies are expected.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Gulf - Magdalen, and Anticosti. Gale warnings are in
effect for all remaining waters except Fundy. A freezing spray
warning is in effect for Anticosti.
