Issued 10:00 AM ADT 16 October 2026 Today Tonight and Saturday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today low 1000 mb located over the Great Lakes.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 996 mb located over Maine.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT Saturday low 996 mb located northeast of
Anticosti Island.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Saturday departing low 981 mb located north
of Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:32 AM ADT 16 October 2026 A low pressure system will track northeastward across the Maritimes
and the Gulf of St. Lawrence tonight and Saturday morning to lie
north of Newfoundland Saturday afternoon. Strong to gale force
southerly winds will veer to strong to gale force northwesterlies in
its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau,
Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Gulf - Magdalen, Chaleur - Miscou and
Anticosti.
