Issued 3:00 AM ADT 17 May 2026 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. ADT today trough located near the St. Lawrence River.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT today trough located from New England to the Gulf
of St. Lawrence.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight trough located from the Gulf of Maine
to Banquereau.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT Monday departing trough located southeast of
the Marine District.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT Monday ridge located over Maine.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Monday ridge located over the southwestern Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:47 AM ADT 17 May 2026 A trough of low pressure will move southeastward across the marine
district today and tonight. A ridge of high pressure will move into
the western marine district on Monday.

Over northern and eastern waters, strong southwesterlies ahead of the
trough will increase to strong to gale force northwesterlies in its
wake. Over western waters, winds will diminish to light near the
ridge on Monday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf-Magdalen - northeastern half and Anticosti.
