Issued 3:00 AM AST 11 December 2025 Today Tonight and Friday At 3:00 a.m. AST today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over West Scotian Slope.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight departing trough located over the Grand
Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. AST today low 990 mb located over New England.
By 3:30 p.m. AST today low 982 mb located over the northern Gulf
of St. Lawrence.

At 8:00 p.m. AST Friday departing low 968 mb located over Labrador
Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:41 AM AST 11 December 2025 A trough of low pressure track across southern waters today to lie
over the Grand Banks this evening. Strong to gale force southerly
winds are forecast ahead of this feature.

A low pressure system over New England will track across New
Brunswick this morning to lie over Northern Gulf of St. Lawrence
waters by this afternoon. Strong to gale force easterly winds are
forecast ahead of the low. Strong to gale force westerly winds will
develop south of the low late in the day today. On Friday, westerly
winds will approach storm force strength over southern waters.
Winds will begin to diminish Friday night as the low departs the
region to the northeast.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
areas.

Additionally, freezing spray warnings are in effect for Fundy, Grand
Manan, Northumberland Strait - western half, Chaleur-Miscou and
Anticosti - northwestern half.
