at 40.8N 61.5W.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Monday Post-tropical Storm Odette 990 mb located
at 42.5N 53.5W.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT today ridge located over the Great Lakes.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Monday approaching ridge located from New England
to Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:48 AM ADT 19 September 2021 As of 3:00 AM post-tropical storm Odette is at 40.8 degrees
North, 61.5 degrees west or about 200 nautical miles south-southwest
of Sable Island. Maximum winds are 45 knots, central pressure is 999
millibars and the system is moving northeast at 17 knots.

Post-tropical storm Odette is currently just south of East Scotian
Slope and will track northeastward to lie over Laurentian Fan this
afternoon and over the Grand Banks tonight. Gale to storm force
southeasterly winds will shift to gale to storm force northerlies in
its wake over eastern waters.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Sable - eastern half, East Scotian Slope - eastern half, Banquereau
and Laurentian Fan. Gale warnings are in effect for Georges Bank -
southern half, West Scotian Slope - southern half, eastern shore,
Sable - western half, East Scotian Slope - western half, Fourchu and
Cabot Strait.
