Issued 8:00 PM AST 29 November 2021 Tonight and Tuesday At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight intensifying trough located over the
central Marine District.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Tuesday departing trough located over the eastern
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:59 PM AST 29 November 2021 A trough over Nova Scotia will move to lie over the eastern marine
district by Tuesday morning. Strong to gale force south to
southeasterlies ahead of the trough become strong to gale force
northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope, eastern shore - eastern half, Sable
- eastern half, East Scotian Slope - eastern half, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Northumberland Strait -
eastern half, Gulf - Magdalen and Anticosti - eastern half.

Outlook for the start-up of the Southwest Nova lobster fishery.

Tuesday..Winds northwesterly 25 to 30 knots becoming westerly 20 to
25 in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 metres diminishing 1 to 2 metres.

Wednesday..Wind southwest 10 to 15 knots veering to west 15 to 20 in
the afternoon. Seas 1 to 2 metres.

Thursday..Wind southwest 10 to 15 knots increasing to southwest 25.
Seas 1 to 2 metres increasing to 2 to 3 metres.

Friday..Wind west 25 to 30 knots. Seas 2 to 3 metres.

Tuesday..Winds northwesterly 25 to 30 knots backing to west 20 to 25
in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 metres diminishing to 1 to 2 in the
evening, except 1 to 2 metres over Grand Manan.

Wednesday..Wind southwest 10 to 15 knots veering to west 15 to 20 in
the afternoon. Seas 1 to 2 metres.

Thursday..Wind southwest 10 to 15 knots increasing to southwest 25.
