Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 8:00 PM AST 29 November 2022 Tonight and Wednesday At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight ridge located over the western Marine
District.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Wednesday departing ridge located over the eastern
Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. AST Wednesday approaching trough located from Quebec
to New England.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:54 PM AST 29 November 2022 An approaching trough of low pressure will move to lie from Quebec to
New England Wednesday afternoon. Strong to gale force southerlies
will developover western waters ahead of this trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern
shore, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, Northumberland Strait -
western half, Gulf Magdalen - western half, Chaleur-Miscou and
Anticosti - western half.

Outlook for the start of the Southwest Nova lobster fishery, lfa34.

Thursday...Winds south 40 to 50 knots becoming west 30 early in the
morning. Seas 3 to 5 metres.

Friday...Winds northwest 20 to 25 knots becoming light near noon and
then increasing to southwest 15 late in the day. Seas 2 to 3 metres
decreasing to 1 in the morning.

Saturday...Winds southwest 15 knots increasing to south 25 in the
afternoon. Seas 1 metre increasing to 2 to 3 late in the day.
