Scattered showers ending near midnight. Rain overnight and Sunday. Fog patches forming this evening and dissipating Sunday morning.

39.1N 66.3W.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Sunday Post-tropical Storm Odette 991 mb located
at 42.5N 58.5W.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over New Brunswick.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight weakening trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT Sunday approaching ridge located over New England.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:16 PM ADT 18 September 2021 As of 3:30 PM tropical storm Odette is at 39.1 degrees north, 66.3
degrees west or about 400 nautical miles southwest of Sable Island.
Maximum winds are 40 knots, central pressure is 1002 millibars and
the system is moving northeast at 17 knots.

Tropical storm Odette is currently south of Georges Bank and will
track along the southern edge of the marine district to lie over
Laurentian Fan on Sunday evening. Storm to gale force southeasterly
winds will increase to gale to storm force northerlies in its wake
over eastern waters. Winds may gust to hurricane force over eastern
waters late in the day.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Sable, East Scotian Slope, Banquereau and Laurentian Fan - western
half. Gale warnings are in effect for Georges Bank - southern half,
West Scotian Slope - southern half, eastern shore, Fourchu,
Laurentian Fan - eastern half, and Cabot Strait.
