Issued 10:00 AM AST 8 November 2025 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:00 a.m. AST today low 992 mb located over southern Quebec.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Sunday low 1002 mb located over Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. AST Sunday ridge located west of the Marine District.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Sunday ridge located over the central Marine
District.

At 8:00 p.m. AST Sunday approaching low 1006 mb located near the
East Coast of the U.S.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:49 AM AST 8 November 2025 A low pressure system over Southern Quebec will track eastward
pushing a trough across the marine district today and tonight. Strong
to gale force south to southwest winds ahead of the trough will shift
to strong northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope,
eastern shore, Sable - western half, Fourchu, East Scotian Slope and
Laurentian Fan.

Outlook for the start-up of the Southwest New Brunswick lobster
fishery.

Lfa 36 Sunday..Winds northwest 15 knots diminishing to light in the
morning. Winds increasing to east 15 knots in the evening. Seas less
than 1 metre.

Lfa 38 Sunday..Winds northwest 15 knots diminishing to light in the
morning. Winds increasing to east 20 knots in the evening. Seas near
1 metre subsiding to less than 1 metre in the morning. Seas building
to near 1 metre in the evening.
