Issued 3:00 AM NDT 11 September 2026 Today Tonight and Saturday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough located on a line north-south over
Newfoundland.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight departing trough located east of the
Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough located on a line east-west over
northern Quebec.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Saturday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:59 AM NDT 11 September 2026 A trough of low pressure over Eastern Newfoundland will depart east
of the Grand Banks this evening. Strong to gale force south to
southwesterlies ahead of this trough will diminish to strong
southwesterlies in its wake.

Meanwhile, a second trough will approach from the northwest. Strong
to gale force westerlies ahead of this second trough will veer to
strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except for Strait of Belle Isle - western half, Southwest
Coast, South Coast, and Northeast Coast.
