Issued 3:30 PM NDT 7 September 2026 Tonight and Tuesday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today low 999 mb located over eastern Newfoundland.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday low 995 mb located east of Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:20 PM NDT 7 September 2026 A low pressure system over Eastern Newfoundland will track
northeastward to lie over Belle Isle Bank by overnight tonight.
Strong to gale force southeasterlies to northeasterlies ahead of the
low will veer to strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island
Bank.
