Issued 3:00 AM NDT 2 August 2021 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located over the southern Grand Banks.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today dissipating ridge located over the eastern
Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today low 1007 mb located south of Nova Scotia.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday low 1003 mb located near the Burin
Peninsula.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary low 987 mb located over
eastern Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:57 AM NDT 2 August 2021 A low pressure system will approach from the southwest today and will
track across Eastern Newfoundland early Tuesday morning. The low will
continue northeastward across Funk Island Bank before moving east of
the marine district Tuesday afternoon. Strong to gale force
southwesterlies are expected to develop south of the lows track
overnight tonight and will diminish by Tuesday afternoon as the low
moves away.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Grand Banks.
