Issued 3:30 PM NST 13 December 2024 Tonight and Saturday At 3:30 p.m. NST today low 964 mb located over northwestern
Labrador Sea.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Saturday low 981 mb located east of Labrador Sea.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over Funk Island Bank.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Saturday trough located east of the Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:12 PM NST 13 December 2024 An intense low pressure system over the Northwest Labrador Sea will
slowly drift eastward across the Labrador Sea tonight and Saturday.
Strong to gale force west to southwesterlies associated with the low
will persist tonight. Winds will gradually diminish over most waters
throughout the day on Saturday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, East Coast - north of Cape St.
Francis, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
