Issued 3:00 AM NST 2 December 2024 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 3:00 a.m. NST today low 984 mb located over southern Labrador
Sea.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Tuesday low 988 mb located east of Labrador Sea.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over the southeastern Grand
Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight weakening ridge located east of the
Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today trough located south of Laurentian Fan.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Tuesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:44 AM NST 2 December 2024 An intense low pressure system over the South Labrador Sea will drift
slowly eastward today and tonight. Strong to gale force
southwesterlies over northern waters will diminish to moderate to
strong westerlies as the low moves away.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank,
and Funk Island Bank.
