By 3:30 p.m. NDT today departing ridge located east of the Marine
District.
At 3:00 a.m. NDT today intensifying trough located on a line
east-west over New Brunswick.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Friday deepening low 1002 mb located over Funk
Island Bank.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:52 AM NDT 11 June 2026 A trough of low pressure over New Brunswick will strengthen to a lowas it crosses Newfoundland later today. The low will then move out
over Eastern Funk Island Bank tonight where it will stall on Friday.
Gale force northeasterlies to northwesterlies will develop Friday
afternoon around the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and Funk Island Bank.
