Issued 3:00 AM NST 17 November 2019 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. NST today low 968 mb located south of Greenland.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday departing low 961 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over New England.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday approaching ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Banquereau.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:49 AM NST 17 November 2019 An intense low pressure system northeast of the marine district will
continue to produce gale to storm force northwesterly winds over most
waters today, except over the Belle Isle Bank where storm to
hurricane force northwesterlies will develop this morning. Winds will
gradually subside tonight and into Monday as the low moves eastward
into the Atlantic and a ridge of high pressure approaches from the
southwest.

Marine interests are advised that a hurricane force wind warning is
in effect for Belle Isle Bank. Storm warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Coast and Funk Island Bank.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters.
