Issued 8:00 PM AST 6 February 2026 Tonight and Saturday At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight low 964 mb located south of East Scotian
Slope.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Saturday low 965 mb located east of the Grand
Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:43 PM AST 6 February 2026 An intense low pressure system south of East Scotian Slope will track
northeastward passing south of the marine district tonight. Gale to
storm force northeast winds to the north of the low will impact
southernmost waters tonight and diminish to strong northerlies on
Saturday.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Laurentian Fan - southern half. Gale warnings are in effect for East
Scotian Slope, Banquereau - southeastern half, and Laurentian Fan -
northern half.
