Issued 3:00 AM ADT 13 April 2021 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 3:00 a.m. ADT today intensifying low 994 mb located southeastof the Marine District.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT today low 992 mb located over Laurentian Fan.
At 3:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday quasi-stationary low 994 mb located
south of Laurentian Fan.
At 3:30 p.m. ADT Wednesday approaching ridge located west of the
Marine District.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:42 AM ADT 13 April 2021 A low pressure system southeast of the marine district will intensifythis morning and move into Laurentian Fan this afternoon. Strong to
gale force north to northeast winds north and west of the low will
prevail across much of the district. Winds are forecast to reach
storm force over Banquereau Tuesday afternoon as the low moves into
the district. Winds will gradually diminish over western and northern
waters on Wednesday as a ridge of high pressure approaches.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Banquereau. Gale warnings are in effect for eastern shore - eastern
half, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Laurentian Fan - western
half, Cabot Strait, Gulf Magdalen and Anticosti - eastern half.
