By 8:00 p.m. AST Saturday low 1001 mb located near Anticosti Island.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight ridge located over the western Marine
District.
By 3:30 p.m. AST Saturday ridge located east of the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:44 PM AST 7 November 2025 Strong to gale force westerlies over northern and eastern waters will
diminish tonight as a strong low in the North Atlantic continues
departing the region. A second low pressure system will pass through
the marine district Saturday. Strong to gale force southwesterlies
will spread over southern waters ahead of the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope,
eastern shore - western half, Sable - western half, East Scotian
Slope, Laurentian Fan and Cabot Strait.

Outlook for the start-up of the Southwest New Brunswick lobster
fishery.
