Marine District.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Saturday low 988 mb located over Nova Scotia.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT Saturday low 986 mb located over Cabot Strait.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Saturday low 985 mb located over southwestern
Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:49 PM ADT 21 March 2025 A low pressure system approaching from the southwest marine district
this evening will track across Nova Scotia tonight then move into
Newfoundland later on Saturday. Strong to gale force west to
northwesterlies are expected behind this system.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, LaHave Bank, West
Scotian Slope, East Scotian Slope, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot
Strait - northern half, and Gulf-Magdalen - northeastern half.
