By 3:00 a.m. ADT Monday low 1003 mb located over the Great Northern
Peninsula.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:55 AM ADT 12 May 2024 A low pressure system over East Scotian Slope will track
northeastward today to lie over Newfoundland this evening. Strong to
gale force northeasterly winds ahead of the low shift to strong to
northwesterlies in its wake.

Mariners are advised that gale warnings are in effect for eastern
shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan
and Cabot Strait.
