Issued 9:51 AM ADT 12 May 2024 A low pressure system over Banquereau will continue to tracknortheastward today to lie over Newfoundland this evening. Strong to
gale force northeasterly winds ahead of the low shift to strong to
northwesterlies in its wake.
Mariners are advised that gale warnings are in effect for eastern
shore - eastern half, Sable - eastern half, East Scotian Slope -
eastern half, Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan - northern half and
Cabot Strait.
