Bank.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Sunday dissipating low located near Browns Bank.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today ridge located over Newfoundland.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight ridge located east of the Avalon Peninsula.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT Sunday trough located from Quebec to New England.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Sunday trough located from Labrador to the Gulf
of Maine.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:23 PM ADT 18 April 2026 A trough of low pressure extending from a low over Northern Quebec
will slowly approach the marine district tonight and Sunday.
Increasing southerly winds will reach strong to gale force across the
region ahead of the trough on Sunday.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Cabot Strait - northern half.
