Issued 8:00 PM AST 27 January 2020 Tonight and Tuesday At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight low 993 mb located over the Gulf of
St. Lawrence.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Tuesday low 996 mb located near Cape Breton
Island.

At 3:30 p.m. AST Tuesday departing trough located over Banquereau.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:51 PM AST 27 January 2020 An area of low pressure over Gulf-Magdalen will move slowly
southeastward tonight, then weaken to a trough by Tuesday afternoon.

Strong to gale force winds north and west of the low will gradually
diminish later on Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Anticosti.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Northumberland Strait, Gulf-Magdalen - western half,
Chaleur-Miscou, and Anticosti.
