Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:34 PM AST 27 November 2022 Gales will diminish over eastern waters this evening as an intense
low pressure system near the Grand Banks tracks away to the east and
a ridge sweeps across the region overnight. On Monday a second low
will track across the district to lie over Newfoundland Monday
evening. Gale to storm force southwesterlies will prevail near and
south of the low.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope and East Scotian Slope.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters except Fundy,
Grand Manan, and all Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
Outlook for the start of the Southwest Nova lobster fishery.
